Courage is contagious.

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Individuals who successfully complete the full 24-hour Dare to Lead™ program will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put the Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.

"A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential."

As a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator, I offer customized Dare to Lead™ training and coaching for nonprofit organizations in a variety of formats designed to fit your organization's needs.

Modules will explore the four skillsets of Daring Leadership:

  • Rumbling with Vulnerability – Learn how to face risk, uncertainty, and tough conversations with courage, clarity, and empathy.

  • Living Into Your Values – Identify what you stand for and how to show up from a place of integrity every day.

  • Braving Trust – Discover how to build meaningful and authentic connections with your teams, colleagues, and customers so you can work together from a foundation of trust.

  • Learning to Rise – Become aware of your emotions and stories and learn how to show up and lead with courage – even when faced with failure, disappointment, and setbacks.

Training can be facilitated for individuals, groups, intact teams or boards. The process begins with an individual Daring Leadership assessment and an optional BRAVING Trust in Teams assessment (for intact teams only).
